All Nippon Airways has unveiled plans to dress one of its planes as the beloved droid R2-D2, an homage to the "Star Wars" films. Beginning this fall, the Japanese air carrier will fly one of its Boeing 787s decorated with R2-D2's signature blue and white stripes, as well as its various data ports. The rear of the plane will also don a large "Star Wars" logo. The Dreamliner's look is part of the five-year "Star Wars Project," which the airꦏline says will "connect Japan to the global market," according to the All Nippon Airways website. The R2-D2 jet will be unveiled for international flights beginning this autumn, just a few months ahead of the December release oဣf "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," a Disney reboot of the famed film series.
