Transcript:
A monstrous finish at the box office for "Jurassic World", bringing in 102 million dollars. It had already shattered records for its domestic and international debuts. Now the dinosaur sequel goes down in history as on▨ly the second film to top the 100 million mark in two separate weekends. It also managed to quash Pixar's winning streak.
Coming in second, Disney and Pixar's new animated feature "Inside Out". It's set inside the head of an 11-year-old girl. It raked in an impressive 91 million dollars, the highest opening ever for a Pixar original - not a sequel. Not to mention, a slew of rave reviews.
And hanging in there at the number three spot - "Spy" - starring Melissa McCarthy. It picked up an extra 10. 5 million, bringing its total U.🉐S. earnings to 74.4 million.
